During the past decade, dental benefit plans have become an integral part of health care planning for many families. If you have dental insurance and would like help filing insurance claims, please bring your insurance card with you to your first appointment.
In an effort to continue providing our patients with exceptional dental care, our office does not accept direct payments from insurance companies, but requests that the patient pay at the time of treatment. We are happy to complete the paperwork and claim for you to receive reimbursement from your insurance company.
After each simple routine visit, we will give you a generic “ADA Dental Claim Form” which is accepted by all insurance companies. You may then submit this form to your insurance company for reimbursement. For more advanced restorative procedures, we will submit this form along with radiographs and a personalized letter explaining the treatment rendered.
Dental insurance companies have widely varying policies concerning reimbursement. Dental insurance coverage is a contract between you, your employer, and the insurance company. You should plan on handling any questions arising during the course of treatment directly with the insurance company.
We are pleased to offer assistance wherever possible to help maximize your insurance benefits and expedite payment of your insurance claim.
